— in chrysalis —A new form
is being woven
Behind the veil, the loom is at work — this product is gestating, and will emerge when the silk gives way.
Why this is being woven
Every desktop app you trust is also a beacon. Adobe pings home. Spotify reads your clipboard. Even your editor calls back. SHIELD is the moat between the apps you run and the network they assume you'll let them touch.
What it will do when it emerges
Behind the veil, the loom is at work — this product is gestating, and will emerge when the silk gives way.
- Per-app outbound firewall — explicit allowlist, default-deny for new processes
- Tracker-domain blocklist (18,000+) refreshed weekly via signed feed
- Anti-fingerprinting for browser, fonts, hardware IDs, timezone, language
- Clipboard sandbox — per-app scope, expires on app close
- Recent-files and browser-history wipe when an app exits
- Telemetry blackhole — silent drop of OS phone-home (Win/Mac diagnostics, Linux popcon)
- Persistent-ID rotation — disk UUID, MAC, hostname rotated per boot session

We collect no email and no name. Watch any of these signals — when this product wakes, all four announce it.
A PGP-signed atom feed publishes every product emergence. Drop the URL into any feed reader; no account, no tracking, no JavaScript required.
The warrant canary is refreshed every full moon and announces every product that crossed a phase boundary that month.
Browse the product's emergence log via the project's .onion address. Same content, different network.
Twice a year (vernal and autumnal equinox) we publish a long-form note on which products emerged, which lapsed, and what we learned. Posted to the storefront archive.
End-to-end encrypted email with anonymous aliases, self-destructing messages, and no recovery phone or email required.
